California Consumer Privacy Act Disclosure & California Privacy Rights Act Disclosure

Tokyo Century USA understands that your data is of the utmost importance. We are committed to securing the data we gather from third party sources and most importantly the data from our customers directly with extreme vigilance and care. TCUSA is currently compliant with all current legislation and regulations.

This California Consumer Privacy Act Disclosure (“CCPA Disclosure”) and California Privacy Rights Act Disclosure (“CPRA Disclosure”) explains the privacy rights of California residents under the CCPA and CPRA and how they can exercise those rights. This CCPA Disclosure and CPRA Disclosure applies to California residents and supplements all other privacy policies applicable to TCUSA services that you use.

In addition to the specific provisions outlined herein, this disclosure is intended to encompass and adhere to all applicable state-level regulations related to consumer privacy. Consumers residing in various states may have distinct rights and protections, and this disclosure aims to ensure compliance with the highest standards set forth by each jurisdiction.

SECTION 1 – WHAT ARE MY DATA RIGHTS?

As a client or consumer of Tokyo Century USA you are entitled to the following:

The right to request the disclosure data collection and any sales practice that is in connection with your data and personal information.
The right to request a copy of the specific personal information collected about you within the past 12 months
The right to have personal data deleted (with exceptions)
The right to request your data not be sold to third parties
The right not to be discriminated against because you may have exercised any of the above mentioned rights.
The right to request updates and/or fixes to inaccurate data.
The right to limit use or disclosure of SPI (sensitive personal information) to the minimum necessary for standard goods and service delivery.
The right to request insight into the logic involved in automated processing and the expected outcomes.
The right to request removal from having automated decision-making applied to data.
Any right under law provided to you by your current state regulations.

SECTION 2 – HOW DO I MAKE REQUESTS ABOUT MY DATA?

If TCUSA receives a request for personal data, a request for deletion of personal data, or an opt-out of data collection, TCUSA will comply with the request according to current and applicable regulations within 45 business days of when TCUSA’s Privacy Team receives the request. All submissions of data requests, deletion, or opt-outs will be verified by our Privacy Team. This team will contact the original submitter of the requests to verify their identity as the owner of the consumer data. In the event that our team is not able properly validate the identity of the requester the original request may be denied.

TCUSA gathers data in our normal course of business all of which is housed securely within our network infrastructure through private as well as third party database providers. Over the years we have collected many points of data from clients, business partners and third parties:
